Paul has provided commercial photography for companies such as Blackpool Tourism & Leisure, Cassidy & Ashton Architects, ICI Plc and Draeger Safety. He has also spent time photographing some of the world’s most spectacular scenery throughout Europe, the Far East, the Caribbean and the USA.
He spent 14 years working for the Metropolitan Police in London, first as a Forensic Photographer and then as a Forensic Training and Development Manager and Head of Photographic Training. During this time Paul worked on many high profile cases, undertaking difficult and technically demanding photography and video at a variety of crime scenes, both in the UK and abroad.
Paul has participated in a number of television documentaries on the work of forensic photography and is used to attending court as an expert witness.
In June 2003 he gained his Certificate in Education, enabling him to make a significant difference to people’s lives by teaching his craft and imparting his knowledge more effectively to others. Paul has particular experience in teaching photography to complete beginners, to people from diverse backgrounds and to those with different learning styles.
Paul’s style is relaxed and friendly, putting you completely at your ease. He combines this with a very patient and supportive approach, working with you at your pace, encouraging you every step of the way.
